Compositplast is a roofing material of the belarusian manufacturer LLC SLAVNAYA KROVLYA, which offers high quality and efficiency and claims to be one of the best roofing materials known today. It is a polymer-rubber material that looks like a sheet of tiles, but is not inferior to high-class roofing due to the matte corrugated surface and color depth, which improve the appearance of the whole building.
The combination of rubber and polymers with the addition of strong reinforcing fibers makes this material particularly resistant to mechanical and atmospheric influences. Moreover, staining the entire sheet with iron oxide pigments ensures resistance to discoloration and ultraviolet radiation that lasts decades. Another important feature of compositplast is its high environmental friendliness combined with price availability.
Due to the matte coating and noise-absorbing properties of rubber and polymers, the composite layer has a high degree of sound isolation and retains snow cover well, prolonging the service life of the draining system and making living conditions more comfortable. Low thermal conductivity indicators guarantee absence of condensation under the roofing sheet and help to save on insulation. Also, weakly adhesive properties of the material exclude the appearance of mosses, mold, and fungi. Compositplast does not accumulate or conduct electricity.
Size and weight Size: 1.05 X 2.2 m, 3 mm (3.45 X 7.22 ft, 0.12 i.) Weight: 8 kg (17.64 lb.)
Quality tests of the material, carried out in the Republic of Belarus, estimated the service life of the material under the influence of artificial aging, ultraviolet radiation, and extreme temperatures as more than 50 years with almost complete absence of external changes, which is why the manufacturer gives a 20-year warranty on their products.
The basis for mounting a compositplast sheet could be a lathing made of edged or uncut boards up to 15 cm (5.9 i.) with a step of 34.2 cm (13.46 i.) between centers.
The fastening of the sheets is carried out with the help of roofing screws, although the flexibility and lightness of the material allows mounting of any complexity independently of the tools used.
